Penny Underhill, CMG CAH

Penny has loved dogs all her life. In 1981 she attended The Academy of Dog Grooming. She then owned her own salon for 20 years before deciding to go mobile.

Penny is knowledgeable in AKC breed profiles and modification trims. She has served as a grooming judge both nationally and internationally. She competes professionally in the grooming arena and has multiple wins in Chicago, Atlanta and St. Louis. She has also shown dogs in obedience and conformation rings.

Penny is proud to occasionally offer quality bred miniature poodles under the PennyPoo prefix.

• Past President of the Illinois State Professional Dog Groomer’s Association
• Member of the National Dog Groomer’s Association
• Companion Animal Hygienist with the World Wide Pet Supply Association.
• Certified in Animal CPR through the American Red Cross

Penny placed 7th in the current rankings of the Groom Team USA
